  2.     MODIFY HOST NAMING SERVICES

  4.     Modify Fields

  6.     This window contains the following fields:

  8.     Hostname
  9.  
  10.     This view-only field shows which host's naming service configuration
  11.     is currently being modified.
  12.  
  13.     NIS
  14.  
  15.     You can use these toggles to specify if you're using the NIS naming
  16.     service for this configuration. If you turn this field On, the NIS+
  17.     fields will be automatically turned Off; these two naming services
  18.     are mutually exclusive for any particular host.
  19.  
  20.     These fields are only available if the NIS toggle is set to On.
  21.  
  22.     NIS Domain Name
  23.  
  24.     Use this field to specify the domain name for your NIS server.
  25.  
  26.     NIS Server
  27.  
  28.     Use this field to specify which NIS Server this host will use.
  29.  
  30.     NIS+
  31.  
  32.     You can use these toggles to specify if you're using the NIS+ naming
  33.     service for this configuration. If you turn this field On, the NIS
  34.     fields will be automatically turned Off; these two naming services
  35.     are mutually exclusive for any particular host.

  56.     service for this configuration. These fields are only available if
  57.     the DNS toggle is set to On.

  59.     DNS Domain Name

  61.     Use this field to specify the domain name for your DNS server.

  63.     DNS Servers
  64.  
  65.     Use this field to specify which DNS Servers this host will use.

  69.     This window contains the following buttons:

  73.     Click on this button to add the specified combination of NIS and/or
  74.     DNS host-server connections. Enlighten will prompt you to confirm
  75.     your action, especially if you're disabling NIS, NIS+, and/or DNS.

  79.     Click on the Next button to view and/or modify additional host-
  80.     server configurations if you've selected more than one to modify. No
  81.     changes will be made to the configuration you're currently viewing.
